Position: Payroll Accountant
Location: Goshen, IN (100% Onsite)
Salary: $55,000 – $70,000, based on experience

The Payroll Accountant will play a critical role in processing and managing payroll for approximately 450 employees. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and accounting practices. You’ll work closely with both HR and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, reporting, and compliance.
Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including quarterly and year-end filings
Maintain accurate payroll records, including wages, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings
Reconcile payroll-related accounts and investigate any discrepancies
Generate and submit payroll reports to internal stakeholders and management
Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate payroll data
Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and finance to streamline payroll processes and ensure compliance
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience managing payroll for medium-to-large employee groups
Proficiency with payroll systems; experience with ERP platforms is a plus
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while handling sensitive and confidential information professionally
