Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist – Niles, IN
About the Role:
A growing financial services firm in Nile, MI is seeking a Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist to support their expanding payroll and bookkeeping operations. This part-time, permanent role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong Excel skills who enjoys client interaction and a flexible schedule.
What You’ll Do:
- Process payroll manually: including entering employee hours, calculating wages, and handling deductions
- Perform data entry, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
- Communicate with clients and assist with onboarding
- Use Excel for payroll tracking and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of payroll and bookkeeping experience
- Strong Excel skills required
- Experience with payroll software preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized, and client-focused
Details:
- Schedule: 100% On-Site | Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 annually
