AR/Billing Specialist – Streamwood, IL | $65,000
Are you an experienced AR/Billing Specialist looking to grow your career with a mission-driven organization? A fast-growing company in the sustainability and recycling industry is seeking a dedicated AR/Billing Specialist to join their team in Streamwood, IL.
After an initial 3-month in-office training period, enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule (4 days onsite/1 remote, eventually moving to 3/2).
As an AR/Billing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Processing invoices for multiple divisions
-
Managing customer records and account reconciliations
-
Monitoring customer accounts for delayed or missed payments
-
Applying cash receipts accurately and handling credit memos/RMAs
-
Preparing weekly receivables reports and assisting with sales tax filings

Collaborating with other departments to resolve billing issues
We're looking for an AR/Billing Specialist who has:

4+ years of experience in contract billing and contract management
-
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
-
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

Knowledge of basic accounting principles
