Controller

Our client is seeking a Controller to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to drive financial performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial functions at the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and operational reports.

• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure accurate accounting and reporting in accordance with GAAP.

• Monitor plant performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

• Collaborate with operations leadership to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.

• Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including variance analysis and profitability assessments.

• Manage the plant’s accounting team and provide mentorship and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.

• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
