Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a reputable and growing company to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a 5-day in-office work schedule in Boston (South End).

Highlights of the Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity:

• The Opportunity: Reporting to senior financial leadership, the Accounts Payable Specialist will have opportunity to assist with automation and continuous improvement of the accounts payable process.

The Accounts Payable Specialist's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the AP workflow, ensuring prompt approvals from Associates to meet month-end closing targets.
• Validate and match tickets and invoices; proactively address any discrepancies or missing documents.
• Input data into the accounting system.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Compile data for monthly accrued expenses report.
• Organize and manage accounts payable records.
• Handle vendor inquiries and communication responsively and with a high service orientation.
• Contribute as required to annual financial statement audits and other audit processes.
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• real estate or construction industry experience strongly preferred
