Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a multinational publicly traded company seeking an Interim Director of Internal Audit.
This role will last for 5-6 months and require a commitment of 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities of the Interim Director of Internal Audit:

• Facilitate successful execution of a risk-based audit plan to assess legal, regulatory, and internal compliance
• Oversee all internal audit procedures internally and externally
• Create and present SOX reports to audit committee and leadership
• Monitor compliance and assess adherence to industry standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CISA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in an internal audit role, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity
• In-depth understanding of SOX and publicly traded company reporting
• Schedule availability for 15-20 hours/week during business hours; ability to commute to Boston for one day/week
