The Payroll Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process weekly payroll for all union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, deductions, and benefits
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including enrollments and changes
- Support the company’s HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
