Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a nonprofit real estate group seeking a Property Accountant to join their team.

About the Company seeking a Property Accountant:

Responsibilities of the Property Accountant:

• Responsible for all the accounting functions for 25+ properties
• Interface with managers of business units, production facility staff, and the corporate finance staff
• Owning the month-end close for these entities
• Working with the AP team to make sure all invoices are paid and properly sorted in the system
• Working with the AR team to reconcile revenue
• Assist with year-end audits, preparing State and Federal cost reports, and other regulatory filings

Background Expected of the Property Accountant:

• 3+ years' experience in an Accounting Assistant role in property accounting or 1+ year(s) as a Property Accountant
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years)
• Experience with Yardi is a plus
• Intermediate Excel skills required including pivot tables and vlookups
