Key Responsibilities of the Payroll and General Accountant:

• Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP WorkforceNow with accuracy and confidentiality

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile cash accounts and other balance sheet accounts

• Support the annual audit process with schedules and documentation

• Manage fixed asset tracking, endowment support, and investment recordkeeping

• Collaborate with internal departments on financial tasks such as gift reconciliation and seasonal billing

Qualifications for the Payroll and General Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with relevant coursework

• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to payroll systems like ADP

• Strong attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and Excel proficiency
