CFS has paired with a non-profit organization looking to bring an Assistant Controller onto their team.

$80,000 - $105,000
About the Organization Seeking an Assistant Controller:
- Their mission is to end homelessness through advocacy, collaboration, education, housing, and the implementation of outcome-based programs
- Originally formed from an addiction treatment center, over the last 40+ years this group has grown to address evolving issues surrounding homelessness
- This is a tight-knit organization where all employees care deeply for the mission
- The small accounting team has three members including this role, with the Assistant Controller and two accounting clerks reporting to the CFO
Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:
- Own the month-end close process and general ledger
- Handle billing for both governmental and private entities
- Approve monthly payroll accruals
- Assist with an upcoming software conversion
- Ad hoc projects as necessary
Expected Background of the Assistant Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or experience equivalent
- MS in Accounting preferred
- CPA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in an Assistant Controller role
$80,000 - $105,000
