• CFS is partnering with a non profit client to find a Part Time Medical Biller to join their team!
  • This position will begin on a contractual basis and can become permanent for the selected candidate depending on performance and fit
• Position is 100% in office in Baltimore County, MD to start. After one month training, the role can be done remotely.
  • Schedule: work between 8:30am-5pm M-F 10-20 hours per week
  • Candidates must be local to the area and have reliable transportation. Free parking!
• Reports to the CFO
• Start Date: July 23, 2025
• Pay: $28-30/hour depending on experience

Job Duties of the Part Time Medical Biller:

• Reviews insurance pre-authorizations and verifications, tracking payment and payment plans
• Uses appropriate billing codes to submit for payment and works to ensure timely and accurate payment from vendors
• Coordinates and distributes week-end report generation and production
• Assists with insurance vendors in regard to any billing issues, inquiries, and corrections
• Corrects electronic claim errors as needed
• Any other duties assigned

Qualifications for the Part Time Medical Biller:

• Must have experience billing Medicare/Medicaid and doing billing through Maryland Public Behavioral Health System
• Experience using Credible EHR or similar system highly preferred
• 1-4+ years of billing experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledgeable on Excel shortcuts) and MS Office required
• Ability to receive and maintain confidential client billing information
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
