Job Title: Accounting Associate
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Type: Full-Time
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Are you an experienced clerical accountant looking for a fulfilling role in the food/beverage industry? Join our client's team as an Accounting Associate and play a pivotal role in managing their financial operations.
Responsibilities:

GL Transaction Review:
- Review transactions and prepare trial balances

Reconciliations:
- Perform cash and bank reconciliations

Cash Projection:
- Manage and project cash flow
-
Month-End Close and Journal Entries:
- Assist in month-end close and prepare journal entries
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (GL, month-end close, trial balance)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
Preferred:
- Experience with NetSuite
- Food and beverage industry experience
