Fixed Asset Accountant

Location: Hybrid — Grand Rapids, MI
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 annually
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM | 2–3 days onsite

Join a nationwide leader in wholesale food distribution with over 20,000 employees! We’re looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant to support our client's growing team in Grand Rapids. This is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on fixed asset management, system maintenance, and collaboration across departments.

Fixed Asset Accountant Responsibilities:

Asset Processing

• Write up assets to be placed into service

• Locate related invoices and assign appropriate coding

• Enter assets into the fixed asset system

Asset Transfers, Disposals, and Maintenance

• Work with various departments to gather and verify asset information

• Manage asset transfers and disposals in the fixed asset system

ERP Implementation Support

• Assist with Oracle Cloud implementation (currently in Phase 2) as needed

Fixed Asset Accountant Qualifications:

Must Have:

• 3–5 years of fixed asset experience

• A strong willingness to learn and adapt if not coming from a strict fixed asset background

Preferred:

• Prior experience as a Fixed Asset Accountant

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft (highly valued)

• Experience with Oracle
