Part-Time Payroll Clerk

Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Schedule: 20 hours per week | Monday–Thursday | Between 9 AM – 5 PM (semi-flexible)
Compensation: $24 – $28 per hour

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for 350–400 employees (currently 380), all within Michigan

• Ensure timesheets are submitted and approved on time

• Manage payroll for both salaried (70%) and hourly (30%) employees

• Handle all payroll functions in-house (no contractors), with UKG managing taxes

• Conduct quarterly unemployment reviews

• Utilize UKG Kronos Ready for payroll and timesheet management

Qualifications

Must Have:

• 1–2+ years of full-cycle payroll experience for at least 200+ employees

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a nonprofit environment

• Familiarity with UKG/Kronos software
