Job Title: QuickBooks Pro Consultant
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Employment Type: Contract / Part-Time / Consulting

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QuickBooks Pro Consultant to assist our organization with financial system setup, troubleshooting, training, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of QuickBooks Pro and a passion for helping organizations streamline their accounting processes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients and solving complex accounting software challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support for QuickBooks Pro, including setup, customization, and maintenance.

• Analyze current accounting systems and processes, and recommend improvements.

• Assist with data migration and integration from other accounting platforms if needed.

• Train staff on efficient and accurate use of QuickBooks Pro features.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the software.

• Support accurate reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis within QuickBooks.

• Ensure client systems are compliant with accounting best practices and standards.

• Provide ongoing support and consultation as needed, either remotely or on-site.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in QuickBooks Pro with certification preferred.

• 3+ years of experience as a QuickBooks consultant or accounting software specialist.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Experience working with nonprofits or small businesses is a plus.

• Flexibility to work on-site in Kalamazoo, MI, as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with nonprofit accounting and grant tracking.

• Experience integrating QuickBooks with other systems (e.g., CRM, payroll, POS).

• Background in financial planning or bookkeeping.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly or project-based rate, commensurate with experience.
