What You’ll Do:

• Apply your expertise in sales tax regulations to ensure timely payment and compliance with state and local tax laws.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of sales tax returns, ensuring strict adherence to filing deadlines.

• Collaborate on sales tax audits, responding to inquiries and providing supporting documentation for tax positions.

• Stay updated on changes in sales tax regulations and integrate them into operational processes.

• Manage and maintain commission calculation processes, ensuring accuracy and timely compensation for sales representatives and agents.

• Create detailed commission reports for management and sales teams, offering valuable performance insights.

• Handle the generation and distribution of invoices and statements, ensuring compliance with payment terms.

• Analyze and manage accounts receivable aging reports, resolving overdue accounts as needed.

• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions, including adjustments, refunds, and credits.

• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and provide support during external audits.

• Take on other related duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in sales tax compliance, commission calculations, and accounts receivable accounting.

• Deep understanding of state and local sales tax regulations.
