Job Purpose:

As the Payroll Accountant, you will manage payroll processing, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support job costing activities. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams and auditors to ensure accurate reporting and contribute to process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time

• Stay updated on labor law changes to ensure seamless compliance

• Provide insights for payroll system upgrades and process improvements

• Handle confidential payroll matters and resolve issues promptly

• Prepare and file required reports for government agencies

• Manage job costing and maintain plant Fixed Asset records

• Collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of payroll-focused accounting experience

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to work in a supportive, family-oriented environment
