Project Accountant
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

As a Project Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing the financial aspects of diverse projects from start to finish. Plus, this role has the potential to grow into a Controller position in 1-2 years!

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project managers to handle the financial aspects of projects from proposal to closeout.

• Set up and manage client projects in the accounting system for accurate billing and financial reporting.

• Prepare, review, and submit client invoices in a timely manner.

• Review and process project-related vendor invoices.

• Understand and apply various billing methods to ensure accurate invoicing.

• Perform regular project reviews, including verifying estimated costs and project variances.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws related to services and materials.

• Close out projects upon completion, resolving any outstanding financial issues.

• Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed.

What they are looking for:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor’s preferred but not required).

• 1-2 years of accounting experience is a plus.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.

• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

• Positive attitude and a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
