Director of Global FP&A – High-Growth Manufacturing
Salary: $190,000 to $230,000 + bonus
Work Model: On-site | Shoreview, MN
Join a fast-growing, private equity–backed global manufacturing company that recently completed a carve-out from a larger organization—and is now building its FP&A capabilities from the ground up.
This is a high-impact, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role where you’ll not only oversee FP&A globally but also design and implement the processes, tools, and metrics that will shape how the business makes decisions.
You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to develop actionable insights—such as margin analysis by product line and business segment—that directly drive growth and profitability. While you’ll lead and develop a small, high-performing team, this role remains hands-on, with deep involvement in analysis, reporting, and strategic business partnering.
The company offers strong visibility with the executive team, significant influence on strategy, and opportunities for career growth as the business continues to expand globally.
Build, lead, and enhance the global FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and long-range modeling.
Partner with sales and marketing to design and track metrics that drive commercial performance.
Conduct margin analysis by product line, customer, and business segment to identify profitability opportunities.
Provide FP&A support for operations, including cost analysis, capacity planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
Manage and mentor a small FP&A team while staying actively engaged in analysis and reporting.
Consolidate and interpret financial results across global operations, presenting insights to senior leadership.
Develop dashboards, reporting packages, and business reviews that enable data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate across functions to improve processes, systems, and reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including leadership of small to mid-sized teams.
Manufacturing industry experience with global operations is required.
Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
Skilled in ERP systems and reporting tools (SAP, Oracle, Adaptive Insights, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to build FP&A processes, partner across functions, and influence outcomes in a growth-oriented environment.
