We are looking for an experienced Cash Applications Specialist to join our client's finance team. They process high volumes of transactions and remittances - scanning, invoicing, and reconciling items from a variety of sources. As part of their team, this Cash Applications Specialist will reconcile account receivables, perform collection management processes, work on reconciliations and post payments. This role also involves creating monthly reports for relevant stakeholders and management. Our ideal candidate for this Cash Applications Specialist opportunity is a motivated problem-solver who can collaborate effectively on larger teams and possesses accurate data entry skills and an eye for detail.
Cash Application Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances
- Create regular reports to accurately track financial information
- Communicate with a variety of internal customers
- Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies
- Engage in collection management processes as necessary
Cash Application Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
- Associates degree in finance or accounting preferred but not required
- 2 + years experience in accounts receivable and cash applications
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team when needed
- High level of multitasking abilities and time management required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Salary: $45K - $55K
