Staff Accountant

Location: St. Louis, MO (Candidates must be open to future relocation for continued growth/advancement)

Salary: $65,000 to $72,000 + 10% Target Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the accounting team to manage accounting functions and programs.

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial analyses and reports.

• Record end-of-month journal entries, maintain fixed assets, and calculate monthly depreciation.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.

• Compile necessary documentation for external auditors and tax return preparers.

• Provide payroll processing support through ADP and assist with HR matters as needed.

• Stay updated with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensure compliance.

• Develop and document standard operating procedures for book close, annual audits, and internal financial controls.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 0-2 years of progressive accounting experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
