Key Responsibilities of the Senior Revenue Accountant:

Perform monthly revenue close, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
-
Prepare and review revenue reports and process owner distributions
-
Reconcile revenue, suspense, and royalty accounts
-
File state and federal regulatory reports (including GLO) and severance tax filings
-
Analyze production and sales volumes for accuracy
-
Support audits with reporting and documentation
-
Drive process improvements and efficiency in revenue reporting
Qualifications of the Senior Revenue Accountant:
-
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
3+ years of oil & gas revenue accounting experience (upstream preferred)
-
Knowledge of operating revenue, production, and distributions
-
Experience with GLO reporting and regulatory compliance
-
Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs); BOLO or similar software a plus
-
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
