About the Firm

• CFS is working with a leading global logistics firms that focuses on making shipments worldwide

• This role will be reporting to the Assistant Controller who is dedicated to growth of the individual professionally in the firm
• The firm is located in the Rutherford, New Jersey area and this role will be 100% in office; some flex hybrid days will be given as well

Responsibilities:

• Cash Application for daily checks, wires, credit cards and electronic payments received from customers into our accounting software.
• Complete ACH Collection Schedule and apply payments in a weekly basis
• Upload ACH Collection batch to bank module in a weekly
• Record & process Credit Memos and distribute to appropriate parties
• Communicate with customers on any requests, questions or issues related to their accounts
• Run reports applicable to assist a variety of accounting processes
• Other duties, assigned by Assistant Controller

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of relevant experience; open to industry
• Experience working on QuickBooks or an accounting system; strong basic Excel experience
• Great attitude, motivated and looking for growth in their career
