About the Organization: Senior Accountant
Role Responsibilties- Senior Accountant
- Creative Financial Staffing of New York is working with a leading food industry organization located in the Hunts Point, Bronx area
- They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and report directly to the controller

Role Responsibilties- Senior Accountant
- Month end close activities including generating reports, analyzing data and account balances, preparing accrual and/or relcassifying entries
- Reconcile balance sheeet accounts
- Assist in the year-end financial statement audit
- Partner with the Accounting Manager and Sr. Manager to provide support for monthly and year-end financial statement disclosures
- Create and/or maintain Prepaid Expenses amortization schedules
- Demonstrate an understanding of P/L Statements and provide variance analysis to budget
- Responsible for creating and maintaining Fixed Assets and Capital Projects in the ERP system
Preferred Experience- Senior Accountant
- 3-4 years of full cycle accounting experience
- Experience in a corproate setting
- BA in Accounting
- ERP System experience (netsuite, SAP, etc)
