RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT
- Monthly account reconciliations; journal entries for reconciled items
- Maintaining the general ledger, month end closing and fix assets
- Maintains subsidiary ledgers as needed; reconciles to general ledger and prepares entries for adjustments.
- Assists in the creation and maintenance of all types of journal entries; including expense allocation entries.
- Compiles data to complete various reporting requirements, including preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Reviews and analyzes program revenue and expenses as recorded; work with other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
