Job Description:
Accounting Clerk

- Construction/professional services firm is seeking an Accounting/Data Clerk for their busy Hempstead office
- This position is in office daily 8am-5pm with a one-hour lunch
- Excellent opportunity for an intern or recent grad looking to gain hands on experience!
- Casual, friendly, and fun office! Activities like ‘cake Mondays,’ ‘bagel Thursdays,’ Halloween parties and more!
Responsibilities of The Accounting Clerk:
- Accurately enter invoices into system at a low volume
- Data entry regarding logistics and trucking / ensuring accuracy against work schedule
- Filing/scanning of documentation as needed
- Customer statement preparation and vendor communication
- Month end close assistance as needed
Experience Preferred of The Accounting Clerk:
- Some accounting knowledge a plus but not a must
- Strong attention to detail both written and verbal
