HR Generalist | NYC

CFS is working with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to hire a Human Resources Generalist to support their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and internal HR support
• Process bi-monthly payroll (hourly and salaried) through ADP
• Administer benefits enrollment, including open enrollment cycles
• Support recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews, reference checks, and coordinating writing exams
• Lead new hire onboarding and orientation processes
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Assist leadership in maintaining a supportive and engaged work culture

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of HR experience, especially in payroll, benefits, and employee relations
• Strong sense of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive issues
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling (any 5 of 7 days) and hybrid in-office requirements
• Organized, responsive, and positive in approach—someone who finds solutions, not roadblocks
