Staff Accountant | Hybrid – NYC
CFS is partnering with a growing pharmaceutical company, to identify a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role with exposure to core GL accounting and inventory-related work in a stable, fast-paced industry.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of general ledger operations, month-end close, and is eager to build out their experience in inventory accounting. What You’ll Do:
- Perform daily and monthly general ledger accounting tasks
- Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Assist with inventory tracking, costing, and adjustments
- Maintain accurate records and support audit prep
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams on accounting processes
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–4 years of accounting experience, preferably with GL and/or inventory exposure
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company environment
