Accounting Manager

Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

• Manage daily accounting operations and supervise AP/AR and general accounting staff

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, accruals, and key balance sheet accounts

• Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting, and variance analysis

• Partner with operations to improve cost controls and production efficiencies

• Work closely with the executive team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy

• Participate in system improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization

What We're Looking For in an Accounting Manager

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)

• Experience: 5+ years in accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership role

• Industry Background: Manufacturing industry experience is required

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel capabilities

• Career Ambition: Strong desire to grow into a CFO-level leadership role
