Salary: $85,000K - $95,000K + Benefits
Our client, a rapidly growing and dynamic company, is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Accountant to join their team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on major projects with prestigious clients such as Meta and Vantage. The role will involve a mix of accounting functions, from managing purchasing and payroll to assisting in financial forecasting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate purchase orders and ensure accounts payable invoices are processed accurately and promptly.
- Review time sheets for accuracy, ensuring labor costs are charged to the correct project areas. Maintain and analyze labor billing rates specific to each project.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring monthly job cost projections, revenue recognition, and financial forecasts. Analyze variances and provide insights to aid in financial planning.
- Prepare and submit detailed, complex billings to customers. Gather cost data and provide necessary backup documentation per customer requirements.
- Monitor the project’s progress to identify any risks to profitability and suggest improvements to financial performance.
- Provide comprehensive financial support to the Project Manager/Executive in all areas of the project.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial forecasting, job costing, and project-based accounting.
- Proficient in MS Excel; experience with accounting software a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
