Job Description:
Business Intelligence Developer
As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will create and manage a full-stack Analytics environment that will ultimately transform data into knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Understand and transform business needs into technical specifications
- Design, build, and deploy ETL/Data Integration solutions using:
- Python
- REST APIs
- Design, build, model, and deploy scalable data analytics/reporting platforms
- Understand and manage a data warehousing platform
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing solutions, including:
- ETL processes
- Databases
- Reporting platforms
- Collaborate with developers to drive/capture data requirements
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analysis across various database platforms
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Research and implement Data Science solutions, and grow this field within the organization
Qualifications
- Background in data warehouse/database design/data mining, including dimensional modeling
- In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL
- Familiarity with BI tooling/reporting platforms
- High-level knowledge of SQL
- Proven abilities to take initiative, innovate, and deploy creative solutions
- Sound analytic mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
