Title: Firmware Engineer
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000
Work Environment: Onsite (M-F; 8am-5pm)
Location: Hudson, OH

Firmware Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Use C/C++ to design and implement firmware for embedded systems
• Meet product specifications by developing innovative embedded firmware
• Update, maintain, and optimize firmware for performance and reliability
• Thoroughly document all design and development processes
• Work on various projects and products from conceptual design to implementation
• Troubleshoot, identify, debug, and resolve any firmware issues
• Work with other engineers on various firmware and hardware projects

Firmware Engineer

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree
  • Masters Degree Preferred
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ Programming for embedded systems
• 1-2 years of professional experience, new grads are acceptable
• Understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripheral interfaces
• Familiar with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems (JTAG, Oscilloscopes)
• Additional experience with version control systems (GIT), Embedded Linux, electrical schematics, and component datasheets
