Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

A well-established and forward-thinking financial services client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Management Team. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a strategic financial executive who thrives in a mission-driven, growth-oriented environment.

About the Role

As CFO, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the financial vision of the organization. You will lead the development of both long- and short-term financial strategies, oversee investment portfolios, and ensure the financial health and regulatory compliance of the institution. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive profitability, manage risk, and provide critical financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage investment portfolios, asset/liability strategies, and profitability initiatives.
• Oversee internal and external financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Lead the Accounting and Finance functions, ensuring efficient processes and accurate reporting.
• Build and manage a high-performing leadership team across Finance, Risk, and Operations.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to support strategic business decisions.
• Lead the organization’s Risk Management and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Provide oversight of enterprise-wide financial systems, controls, and vendor relationships.

Must-Have Qualifications

• CFA or equivalent certification (e.g., CCE, CCUIP) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including experience at the Controller or CFO level.
• Strong management experience in financial services or a related industry.
• Deep knowledge of financial and accounting practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• CPA and/or CMA certification is a plus.
