Accounts Payable Specialist
Valencia, PA | Full-Time | On-Site
A well-established healthcare organization in Western Pennsylvania is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. This in-office position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing across a dynamic, multi-entity operation.
Responsibilities for AP Specialist role:

Process vendor invoices and maintain updated vendor records

The AP Specialist will prepare weekly check runs and enter manual checks as needed
-
Resolve vendor inquiries and sales tax discrepancies
-
Coordinate invoice approvals with department managers
-
Enter monthly journal entries and maintain W9 documentation
-
The AP Specialist will Assist with year-end 1099 preparation
-
Support finance leadership with special projects
-
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Qualifications for AP Specialist role:
-
2–3 years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger
-
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
-
Familiarity with SAGE Intacct is a plus

Team player with a proactive mindset
