BOOKKEEPER

OVERVIEW OF THE BOOKKEEPER ROLE:

• Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients using Accounting CS
• Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll for clients
• The Bookkeeper will handle payroll tax filings and related compliance tasks
• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledgers
• Prepare and maintain financial reports and records
• Assist with year-end and quarterly tax reporting
• The Bookkeeper will support CPAs and other staff during busy seasons

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE BOOKKEEPER:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping and payroll experience, preferably in a public accounting or client services environment
• Familiarity with payroll platforms
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and client relationships
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field a plus
