Accounts Payable Specialist
Mars, PA | Full-Time | On-Site

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team. This in-office role is essential to ensuring timely, accurate processing of invoices and maintaining strong vendor relationships in a multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Process vendor invoices and maintain up-to-date vendor records

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will prepare weekly check runs and enter manual checks as needed

• Resolve vendor inquiries and sales tax discrepancies

• Coordinate invoice approvals with department managers

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will enter monthly journal entries and maintain W-9 documentation

• Assist with year-end 1099 preparation

• Support finance leadership with special projects

• Maintain confidentiality of all financial data

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable and general ledger functions

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

• Experience with SAGE Intacct or similar ERP systems is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proactive team player with a positive, solution-focused mindset
