CONTROLLER
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 + 20% Bonus
Position Type: Full-Time | On-site or Hybrid Option Available

As Controller, you’ll take ownership of the company’s financial operations, drive strategic planning, and lead a growing accounting team. This role is hands-on and highly visible—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings both technical acumen and leadership excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes; deliver timely, accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements

• Design, implement, and maintain internal controls to ensure regulatory and audit compliance

• Mentor and manage a team of accounting and finance professionals, promoting team development and high performance

• Coordinate annual audits, oversee inventory accounting, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors

• Manage banking relationships, wire transfers, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and cash flow

• Develop and train staff on company-wide accounting policies, procedures, and financial best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or controllership roles

• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit procedures

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms

• Proven success in building, developing, and managing high-performing accounting teams

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial database tools

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence key decisions
