Job Title: Dental Biller
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Compensation: $22 – $24 per hour

About the Role:
We are looking for a Dental Biller to join our team and support the billing and collections process for our dental practice. This role involves claims submission, coding, patient account management, and resolving billing issues with both patients and insurance carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit dental claims accurately using DPT-4 and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes.

• Review claims editing reports and resolve billing issues promptly.

• Follow up on claim denials, work through appeals, and ensure timely payment.

• Generate and manage patient statements, reaching out to patients regarding balances.

• Provide excellent customer service by walking patients through billing or claim questions.

• Collaborate with internal staff and insurance carriers to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dental or medical billing required.

• Familiarity with DPT-4 codes, ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes, and claims processing.

• Experience working with Dentrix software strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of CPC coding helpful but not required.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $22 – $24/hr
