OVERVIEW OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST ROLE:

• Process bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly payroll for multi-state employees.
• Ensure accurate withholding and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll records and employee data.
• Reconcile payroll and benefits-related accounts.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and year-end payroll activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on special projects and initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST:

• 2–5 years of payroll experience (multi-state and/or in a high-volume environment is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, UKG, etc.).
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to take initiative.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
