SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

$85,000- $100,000

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the accounting team in key financial functions. This individual will play a critical role in financial reporting, general ledger management, month-end close, audit support, and ensuring accuracy across inventory and payroll processes.

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Prepare internal financial reports in accordance with GAAP.

• Maintain the general ledger and consolidation processes.

• Ensure accurate inventory accounting and reporting across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, accounts payable, payroll) to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Participate in audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.

• Manage sales tax filings and compliance.

• Assist in process improvement efforts, system upgrades, and control implementations.

• Perform ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.

• CPA preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Dynamics 365 a plus).

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
