Job Description:
Assistant Controller | Hybrid Schedule | Nashville, TN | Up to $115K
A well-established manufacturing company in Nashville is seeking an Assistant Controller to join its growing finance team. This full-time role offers a hybrid schedule after training and a competitive salary of up to $115,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly close process, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
- Oversee AP/AR operations and assist with cash flow and inventory accounting
- Partner with plant managers and operations teams to drive cost control and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Support audits and assist with fixed asset tracking and capital expenditure reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Prior experience in manufacturing accounting is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Strong analytical skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Hybrid flexibility available after training
