Our client, a booming services company in Clarksville, is adding a Senior Accountant. Work/life balance and great benefits, including 401k match. Family-friendly environment with a laid-back culture. Hours are Monday -Friday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. The salary goes up to $80,000. This role will be groomed to move up to the Controller. Permanent direct hire. Onsite in Clarksville, TN.

Overview of the Senior Accountant Role:

• The Senior Accountant will maintain the general ledger and compile financial info for reporting.
• Codes invoices, reconciles accounts, and helps close the monthly books.
• Reconciles bank accounts weekly, verifies deposits, and posts customer payments.
• Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections.
• Assist with resolving financial analysis variances.
• Enters accounts payable invoices into the accounting system.
• Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• 2 plus years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Ability to work onsite in Clarksville 9:00 am-4:00 pm
