Accounting Manager
Rutherford County / 7:30am–4:00pm (flexible within 7–5) /Temporary to Hire
Salary: $85,000 - $120,000

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join a collaborative, close-knit team. In this temp-to-hire role you will be able to add value by improving processes, cross-train, and have the chance to work in a supportive, family-style environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
- Prepare accurate financial reports in compliance with GAAP
- Manage AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Oversee month-end and year-end close, including variance analysis and reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax filings
- Analyze costs and recommend savings opportunities
- Maintain ERP data accuracy (Infor migration underway)
- Drive or support special projects and process improvements

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager
- Atleast 1-2 years experience as an Accounting Manager
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA license a big plus
- Strong GAAP knowledge and SOX compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Sumif, Hlookups—no macros)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled in process improvement
- Comfortable moving from manual to automated processes
