Job Description:
Director of Financial Reporting
We’re looking for an experienced interim Director of Financial Reporting to assist with SEC reporting (Specifically Form 10-Q and 10-K generation.) Experience working in Workiva is highly preferred but not required. This is a project-based role anticipated to last anywhere from 3 to 9 months depending on availability and fit. Immediate need! Great opportunity to jump in and make an impact! Start as soon as Wednesday July 2.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial statements while ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Preparation and review of forms 10-Q and 10-K
- Heavily assist with Quarter End Close
- Manage financial data utilizing Workiva (Workiva is the main reporting tool)
- Ensure all data in Workiva database is organized appropriately
- Generate Earnings release
- Generate Financial Data Report
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Accounting and 5-7 years’ minimum experience
- Experience with SEC Reporting
- Workiva experience is highly desired but will accept experience in major financial reporting platforms. Workiva is similar to Excel - RR Donnelly or Blackline
- Public experience required
- Real Estate investment trust experience, or Healthcare experience a major plus
- CPA would be a plus
- Collaborative and Communicative
- Makes decisions but understands when to ask questions
