Job Description:
Controller
Join a dynamic and growing company as a Controller! In this key leadership role, you'll oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties and development projects. Ideal for someone with strong GAAP knowledge and who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This is temporary to hire opportunity.
Core Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage Accounts Receivable billing for tenants
- Prepare budgets and analyze variances between budgeted and actual results
- Review all Accounts Payable for accuracy before submitting to CFO
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure financial accuracy
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end closing and reporting
Software Utilized:
- Sage 300 CRE (experience not required)
- Excel: Mostly premade sheets
- Paperless AP (experience not required)
Candidate Qualities and Skills:
- Bachelors in Accounting, CPA is a big plus but not required
- Highly Detail Oriented
- Ability to Multitask
- Willing to learn and be a helpful team player
- Follow all processes and procedures
