Job Description:

Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Compensation: $80,000–$95,000

CFS is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare organization in search of a Senior Staff Accountant to join their expanding team. This is a newly created opening with a company that is scaling fast—now operating over 350 locations nationwide and continuing to grow! Key Responsibilities:
  • Fixed Assets Management: Maintain the fixed asset module, including tracking asset transfers, managing depreciation and write-offs, and preparing the fixed asset roll forward.
  • Month-End Close & Reporting: Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for expense allocations, accrued liabilities, and healthcare revenue; support accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Operational Expense (OPEX) Analysis: Compile and analyze supply expense data, maintain reporting for accrued liabilities, and assist with operational expense reviews.
  • Accounts Receivable & Intercompany Balances: Track and update tenant improvement (TI) receivables in Salesforce to support collection efforts; reconcile and manage intercompany AP/AR balances.
  • Financial Dashboards & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and key reports to provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
  • Tax Compliance: Coordinate the timely payment of business personal property taxes with internal stakeholders.
  • Audit & Process Improvement: Support internal and external audits; identify opportunities for automation and enhanced accounting processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience; healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Multi-location, multi-entity, or intercompany accounting experience required.
  • Fixed Assets accounting and reporting
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (experience with NetSuite is a BIG plus) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • CPA-eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred.
