What You’ll Do as a Commercial Collections Specialist:

• Proactively collect on past-due accounts via phone, email, and other communication methods — all while maintaining strong customer relationships

• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies using sales data, customer records, and service history

• Monitor and manage customer credit limits and payment plans

• Keep customer account records up to date with accurate collection notes, and provide invoices or statements as needed

• Generate aging reports, summarize receivables, and help lead monthly AR meetings

• Process credit memos and coordinate any billing adjustments

What You Bring to the Table as the Commercial Collections Specialist:

• 2+ years of B2B collections experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Proven ability to reduce aging receivables through persistence and professionalism

• Intermediate MS Excel skills — you’re confident with spreadsheets, not intimidated by them

• Highly organized with sharp attention to detail

• A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and follow through

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
