Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
- Lead and execute the month-end close process in a high-volume, manual environment
- Oversee and perform complex account reconciliations and journal entries
- Manage cash operations and post manual payments with attention to accuracy
- Deliver insightful variance analysis with clear, concise commentary
- Supervise and mentor a team of three general ledger accountants
Ideal Candidate Profile for the Accounting Manager:
- Previous experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role
- Proven track record managing general ledger, reconciliations, and cash transactions
- Advanced Excel skills – you can build Pivot Tables from scratch, rock VLOOKUPs, IF statements, and complex formulas
- Thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Hands-on leader with a “no-task-too-small” mindset
- Experience with Sage X3? That’s a big plus
