Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote to San Antonio, Texas locals only

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial operations.

Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• Responsibilities:
  • Process and review invoices (100+ daily)
  • responsible for verbal and email correspondence with vendors to resolve any issues
  • validate invoices, ensure they are entered into Cost Point to be sent out for approval
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • review and apply proper time and resources/ PO's to invoices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial audits and reporting requirements.
  • work directly with a team of 6 accounts payable team members
  • comfortable with high volume data entry

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  • Proven track record of managing a high volume of invoices and vendor accounts.
  • personable and customer service driven

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
