Lead Security Analyst
Location: San Antonio, TX – On Site | Full-Time

A long-standing CFS client is seeking a Lead Security Analyst to strengthen its cybersecurity operations and drive improvements across key security platforms. This position plays a critical role in leading the implementation and optimization of cybersecurity tools while mentoring junior analysts and partnering with teams across the organization. Ideal candidates are collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and mitigating risk in a fast-paced, evolving IT environment.

Responsibilities for the Lead Security Analyst:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for security systems including SIEM, DLP, NAC, SSO, MFA, and NDR
• Lead and support upgrades, configurations, and integrations across cybersecurity platforms
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and enforce security policies and best practices
• Act as the escalation point for complex security incidents and investigations
• Monitor the evolving threat landscape and recommend proactive defense strategies
• Provide mentorship and training to team members and promote cybersecurity awareness organization-wide

Requirements for the Lead Security Analyst:

• 3+ years in a senior-level technical security role (5+ preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with tools like Active Directory, SIEM, EDR, DLP, and NDR
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Cisco networks, and identity/access management
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Required certifications: Security+, CYSA+, or ISC2 Certified in Security
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, or credentials in MFA, SSO, Cisco, Azure, or Active Directory
